You can also use the following dig options before a domain name:

dig a

dig mx

dig cname

dig txt

dig srv

dig ns

You will see below that the dig bowseranana.com results will output the IP address that the domain is pointing to.  In this case it is the IP of the VPS bowseranana.com is hosted on.

When trying to find what IP address a domain you are doing a lookup on should point to, look the domain up in Bran.  There will be a field that states the IP address of the server which you can compare the dig results to.
